LED Controller

To use all the advantages that the LED lighting design can bring to you, you need some kind of LED controller. While there are a lot of different types of controllers, most popular nowadays are microcontroller based ones.

These LED controllers have many benefits over any kind of “hard-logic” ones. Small electronic device, a microcontroller, operates according to a special program.

Now the version in the market is much more flexible and also it now includes the strength and the ability to alter as well as put the PIC to a “slumber” and also make it go back to an “active” mode. This system and version is one that is still going to be using the options to alter the sequence and also has the options to select whether to switch between two or more sequences. This is a new version and has state of the art application qualities.

It easily gets integrated and configured with other systems and also helps you select the optimal level if changes and separate sequences that you may want to use. The data used to set and change the colors is held in an easy to edit file so if you don’t like the sequences provided with it, you can modify the sequence data include file yourself and reprogram with your own sequences.

The modes that are being offered can also be changed within the selected options. Once you are running a particular mode you are then supposed to keep it running. However, if in between you wish to change modes then you can do that as well.

Usually any custom LED controller is programmed to perform some series of predefined steps – like sequential chasing or color changing. To change the sequence many LED controllers use a single push button switch.
